Abstract
Les auteurs proposent une réflexion sur les représentations sociales de l’amitié hors ligne et en ligne sur Facebook. Leur enquête vise à comprendre de quelle manière les utilisateurs définissent « l’amitié » dans le quotidien, pour ainsi comparer ces définitions avec celles qui sont effectivement créées et entretenues « en ligne » sur Facebook. Ils cherchent aussi à comprendre ce que les usagers pensent de leurs relations en ligne. L’objectif est d’illustrer le rôle particulier joué par Facebook dans le développement de relations amicales entre ses utilisateurs par l’explicitation de diverses stratégies déployées par eux pour gérer l’ensemble de leur réseau de contacts sur la plateforme.
