Abstract
De las múltiples formas de abordar el estudio de los factores que participan en la comisión de delitos sexuales cometidos en contra de niños y niñas, una de las que han sido poco exploradas es a partir del análisis de los componentes de la cultura patriarcal. En este artículo se revisa especialmente la vinculación entre cultura patriarcal y los diversos sistemas religiosos contemporáneos, especialmente el cristianismo (sin distinción del rito concreto), el judaísmo y el islamismo. La constante observable en los sistemas mencionados es la consideración de la mujer en segundo plano respecto del varón, aunque hay matices interesantes de considerar.
