Abstract
Basing upon the data of global and Russian political practices, the article considers domestic and foreign policy risks of the contemporary Russian society, since discussions on these matters continue at present. Thus, among the foreign policy risks there are: sanctions and threats to Russia from the United States, Canada and the EU, international terrorism and extremism, the risks of global civil society, etc. The domestic risks are determined by the foreign policy ones and are considered in the context of electoral behavior, local government, interaction between the state and the civil society, strengthening of the state control over non-profit organizations, etc.
