Abstract
A review of the feature film 'Three Blind Mice' directed by Matthew Newton. Matthew Newton's feature 'Three Blind Mice' (2008) has had a roundabout history. In 2008 it debuted in the inaugural official competition of the Sydney Film Festival, receiving a special commendation (judge Gillian Armstrong described it as 'a fine collaboration by a talented group of young filmmakers'1). It went on to screen in the Melbourne and Toronto film festivals that year and win the FIPRESCI international critics' award at the London Film Festival.
