Abstract
Cet article propose quelques réflexions préliminaires sur l'importance que les femmes migrantes (1945-1967) accordent, dans leurs récits de vie et de migration, à la logistique et aux conditions matérielles de leur déplacement au Canada. Des récits tels que ceux disponibles sur le site du Musée canadien de l'immigration du Quai 21 ont été examinés afin d'identifier les facteurs pouvant déterminer le poids accordé à ces questions. Ce qui motive la migrante à faire connaître son histoire joue souvent un rôle décisif. L'article se termine par un aperçu du type d'informations que les femmes ont tendance à fournir concernant les conditions matérielles de leur migration, puis il suggère d'autres champs d'investigation.
