Abstract
Où est la maison de mon ami? d'Abbas Kiarostami et Les Rêves de la ville de Mohammad Malas utilisent l'enfant comme agent d'une critique sociale et politique. Tout en empruntant certains thèmes caractéristiques du Troisième Cinéma, ces oeuvres oscillent entre des structures narratives et non-narratives, des positions antagonistes et évasives, des thèmes politiques et universels. Il serait tout aussi erroné de les interpréter en termes d'esthétisme impressionniste que de les qualifier de films mignons au sujet de petits enfants. Mais c'est également une erreur de voir en eux des films révolutionnaires dignes des partisans du Troisième Cinéma.
