El presente trabajo es una aproximacion a las representaciones sociales en torno a las personas de orientacion homosexual y al concepto de homosexualidad mismo, que tienen estudiantes universitarios de pregrado de la Universidad del Valle (Santiago de Cali, Colombia) de las carreras de Psicologia y Biologia. Se trata de evidenciar la presencia de practicas incluyentes y excluyentes, informaciones, conocimientos, creencias y elementos de narracion que giren alrededor de sus concepciones sobre lo que es la homosexualidad, y que conlleven al mantenimiento de una sociedad homofobica y lesbifobica, o vislumbren esperanzas de realizacion de lo que se ha denominado una posible sociedad tolerante y pluralista. Para ello se toma una muestra no probabilistica de seis estudiantes a los cuales se les realiza una entrevista a profundidad a partir de una modelo de entrevista semiestructurada elaborada previamente
