Abstract
Details of the Canada-Dairy dispute in which New Zealand and the United States argued since 1997 that Canada's regulation of its domestic supply and export of milk which provided export subsidies to its dairy products breached Canada's obligations under the WTO (World Trade Organisation) Agreement on Agriculture, are presented. New Zealand active participation in the case till the Appellate Body of the WTO disallowed the Canadian dairy subsidy scheme in 2002 is highlighted.
