Moneyweb's PERSONAL FINANCE September 2005 3 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTIONS were net buyers of information and communication technology (ICT) shares in the second quarter this year. They added another 132-m of the shares in the three months to June, taking the total holding of counters in the sector in their unit trust portfolios to 632-m shares worth R12, 3-bn. MTN remained by far the most popular of the ICT shares among local institutions, making up almost a quarter of the total value held.
