Abstract
Définir les services d’une bibliothèque parlementaire, que ce soit celle de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec ou une autre, suppose qu’on tienne compte de divers facteurs ou réalités : la bibliothèque est habituellement un service interne, lequel évolue en fonction des techniques de l’époque et a une obligation de moyens. Une fois ce contexte pris en compte, les dirigeants peuvent faire appel à différentes techniques pour moduler les prestations : contacts avec les abonnés, écoute de leurs desiderata collectifs, observation des pratiques étrangères et mise en branle d’études ou de sondages.
