Abstract
Les thèmes reliés à l'exil et à la domination sont partout présents dans l'histoire de la littérature québécoise. Malgré ce fait, les auteurs immigrés sont trop souvent placés en dehors de la tradition québécoise. C'est que leur écriture nuirait à l'homogénéité, et donc à l'identité, d'un groupe culturel bien défini. A l'aide d'une étude comparative de plusieurs œuvres publiées récemment par des auteurs allophones, je me propose d'étudier l'effet non pas nuisible mais enrichissant du pluriculturalisme sur la littérature québécoise. Les traits distinctifs de l'écriture des auteurs allophones fécondent la culture québécoise à un tel point qu'une tentative de redéfinition de sa littérature semble essentielle.
