Abstract
All government departments and institutions are required to submit their strategic plans to the relevant portfolio committees in the first quarter of every year. They will then present their annual reports towards the end of the year, indicating whether the targets set in their strategic plans have been met. The review of this process forms part of Parliament's oversight function.
