Abstract
Although having been studied for almost a century, the issue of the Pskovian master builders who, according to the chronicles, took part in the construction of Moscow churches in the last quarter of the 15th c., remains controversial. The article comprises an overview of the studies on this issue and outlines the directions of further study.
