Abstract
Parmi les plus récentes technologies d’information et de communication, une part importante des journalistes ont choisi d’intégrer Twitter à leur palette d’outils professionnels. Twitter se présente comme l’un des outils qui permettent d’entretenir au mieux une relation de communication horizontale entre les informateurs et leurs publics selon les exigences et les préceptes de démocratie participative qui de plus en plus se développent et expriment un désir d’équité de publication entre public et médias. Le présent article montre, par l’analyse de leurs usages réels de Twitter, que les journalistes québécois adoptent ou reproduisent des postures d’autorité sur leur public.
