Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The graduate level interior design studio is engaged with the investigation of the reciprocal relationships between body and space. The exercises presented here not only explore the body + space interaction but also include the effects of dressed body + space interaction in interiors. Furthermore, consideration is given to the fact that the layers that wrap the human body span a wide range, from the most intimate, clothing, to the scale of architecture. Clothing can be perceived as a second skin, and consequently acts as a sensorial receptor which has the capacity to inform our built environments in form and essence. Dress transforms the body into an identifiable, recognizable and acceptable entity within the specific cultural context. In addition, a dressed body can be perceived as a contextually dependent phenomenological entity which is embedded in the dynamics of social order. The design studio functioned within the framework of the ideas discussed above on various levels, from the methodology investigation of dressmaking and body enhancements to the notion of body and space as performative arenas. Ultimately, the design proposals question normative assumptions and the intensified position of interiors in light of the heightened/altered body and space interaction in the 21st century.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
