Abstract
Au moment où nous écrivons ces lignes, la Commis sion de Vérité et Réconciliation (CVR / TRC 2015a) vient de déposer son rapport accablant concernant l'impact des pensionnats autochtones sur les personnes et les cultures autochtones du Canada. Dans ce volumineux rapport, la commission affirme qu'un des objectifs de l'enseignement dispensé dans les pensionnats était la destruction de la spiritualité autochtone dans le but de lui en substituer une meilleure. Alors que le territoire, la langue, la culture et l'identité autochtones sont inséparables de la spiritualité et constituent les dimensions essentielles de toute une manière d'être.
