Abstract
Boundary is a transition of the system to a new historical structure, a moving trajectory in complex interdependence. Nowadays there are no boundaries but rather a system of new/post modernity, transformation, individualization, society fragmentation, increased global risk. This is the system of Beck’s “reflexive modernization” in multicultural risk-societies where we need to re-shape ad-hoc decisions and create a hybrid world, an open system. The traditional system with boundaries emphasizes on several models of state-building by comparing the internal and external variables of Hintze and Tilly. Military organization is state organization (Hintze) and internal variables are the structure of social classes, army’s composition, constitutional composition, social balance. External variable is war and ordering of states. War-making causes state-making through the process of extraction (Tilly) and cultural homogenization causes state-making. Army organization reflects state organization and the first represents domestic variables’ importance. Bureaucracy in the army leads to absolutism (Prussia), ideological division of the army causes alteration between absolutism and conservatism, purchases in the army result in parliamentarism and a loose structure of the army bring a feudal system.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
