“Ir romera y volver ramera”: Las pícaras romeras/rameras y el discurso del viaje en el Libro de entretenimiento de la pícara Justina

Abstract
Este artículo explorará el discurso en torno al viaje y a la peregrinación de la mujer tal como se desarrolla en La pícara Justina, principalmente en el libro segundo titulado “La pícara romera”, pero también hará referencia a otras pícaras romeras y a la tradición de la peregrinación desde el Codex Calixtinus. En concreto se repasarán las romerías de Justina en relación a otros textos picarescos y hagiográficos que tratan sobre la peregrinación y el viaje de la mujer. El viaje de antiperegrinación de la pícara romera/ramera con su incansable paso y deslenguado discurso pondrá de manifiesto la amenaza que supone la mujer “suelta” para el orden establecido. Como se comprobará, las romeras/rameras/pecadoras/pícaras ofrecen al autor diversas formas con las que expresar su preocupación por la transgresión femenina, aportando soluciones que, aunque en principio puedan parecer dispares, son, no obstante, bastante similares.
