Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Yoko Tawada’s novel Das nackte Auge (2004) has a number of features that fall somewhere between the modern and postmodern aesthetic in her expression of intercultural and neocolonial transition, which gives the work a prominent place in contemporary literature. The text has important metaliterary and metacultural elements and it explores various forms of aesthetic configurations that play with linguistic and cultural restrictions. In particular the semantic field of the eye and visibility are linked to the linguistic dimension to self-referentially explain a poetology of the intervals of uncertainty caused by cultural friction. Using the concepts o limitation and liberation, the analysis of the novel allows us to combine the formulas found into a poetics of mutation.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
