Abstract
Summary . The article dwells on teacher training course for teachers of English and its im-portance for establishing better learning practices. This abstract presents the ideas of direct cohesion be-tween teacher proficiency and the ability of students to use a foreign language. Key words : training course; teaching English as a second language; teaching skills. It is common knowledge all teachers, no matter what education, degrees and grasp of practice they have need continuing education. It is also true that nourish-ing the ongoing professional growth of teachers is critical to ensure the best and brightest reach our most precious commodity²our youth[3]. Teachers are challenged to teach all students, regardless of their ability levels. They differentiate and adapt their teaching approaches to accommodate each students learning style. Teachers are expected to design effective lesson plans aligned to state standards, ready their students for statewide assessments, manage elementary and adolescent behavior, understand and use data to make informed decisions and deliver instruction engages students and improves achievement from the first day on the job and without sustained support [3]. To be able to meet all required standards teachers need to be involved in self-development programs and courses. For those who are engaged in teaching English as a second language it is twice more difficult because they are supposed to equip students not only with the structures of the language but also with information about culture and everyday life of people from an English- speaking country. To achieve both - re-fresh your teaching skills and acquire foreign culture, teachers can choose courses abroad. Teachers have a variety of countries to choose from: the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Canada and many European countries like Malta, Spain, Greece and many others. We consider an English-speaking country to be the best choice for those who deal with English language. Staying in an English-speaking country is education by itself. Being immersed in a culture is the best way to reconnect with it [4]. You feel like a diver who explores the world which he couldn't touch before. There is a great possibility to practice English everywhere: in the shop, in the cafe, on the bus, etc. It is very situational. There are no problems or any barriers to enrich the vocabulary, improve country-study knowledge, get cultural information.
