Abstract
L'historien canadien M.K, dont les travaux sur les médecins nazis et la musique sous le IIIème Reich sont désormais célèbres, nous gratifie ici d'une belle synthèse sur l'un des piliers du régime nazi.En canalisant le mythe messianique de la jeunesse et le culte de l'énergie omniprésent dans les mouvements allemands de jeunes dès le début du XXe s., la HJ apparaît comme un rouage central de la tentative d'intégrer les masses à la Volksgemeinschaft en broyant les autres formes d'appartenance, et notamment la famille.
