Abstract
Este artículo explora ciertas características y dinámicas propias de la irrupción contemporánea de las literaturas indígenas en Brasil. A partir de una breve mención de los trabajos de viajeros europeos como Ermanno Stradelli y Theodor Koch-Grünberg, el recopilador indígena Maximiano José Roberto y el novelista brasilero Mário de Andrade, es posible analizar el surgimiento de escritores indígenas en el Brasil de las últimas dos décadas. En tal sentido, este artículo estudia las Crónicas de São Paulo (2004) de Daniel Munduruku así como pronunciamientos de Olívio Jekupé, Eliane Potiguara y Yaguarê Yamã, entre otros escritores. Algunos temas centrales en este estudio son la difusión por internet de estas literaturas indígenas, el interés pedagógico de sus autores en el público infantil-juvenil, y las complejas relaciones entre oralidad y escritura.
