Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Modeling of a renewable power generation unit for micro-grid study is essential in terms of generator and prime mover dynamics. It is because both the generator and prime mover dynamics have the dominant influence on the generated output power especially in micro-grid system. This paper presents the modeling and simulation of a 27 MW wind farm system in Fermeuse, Newfoundland, Canada. The system comprises of nine 3MW variable-speed wind turbines where the generator stator is directly coupled to the grid and the rotor is fed by back-to-back pulse width modulated converter. A fifth order model of induction generator, model of transmission system and a model of wind speed profile is developed and presented in this paper. The wind farm system model is simulated in Matlab/Simulink and simulation results are presented. This paper concludes that the developed model is able to represent the generator and the turbine dynamics in the power system.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
