Historien ukrainien et ancien éditeur de la revue Ukraina Moderna, Andrii Portnov est directeur de l’Initiative Ukraine Berlin-Bradenburg, chercheur au Forum des Études transrégionales et professeur à l’Université Humboldt de Berlin. Dans le cadre d’une nouvelle édition du festival des idées Mode d’emploi (Lyon, 16-29 novembre 2015), Andrii Portnov a participé à deux débats : « La Russie de Vladimir Poutine » et « Dnipropetrovsk : histoire d’une ville secrète ». Dans l’entretien enregistré lors de son séjour à Lyon, Andrii Portnov observe et analyse de façon critique la situation politique de l’Ukraine, en fonction de son histoire et de sa situation actuelle.
