Abstract
A intervencao relativamente a fen6menos de marginalizacao e/ou exclusao (social, economica, politica e cultural) aos mais diversos niveis de incidencia (individual, familiar ou de sectores mais ou menos amplos da populacao) sempre se inscreveu (e inscrevera) no âmbito da accao dos assistentes sociais. Esta caracteristica que persistentemente tem acompanhado o Servico Social decorre da nao menos persistente manifestacao dos problemas de marginalizacao e/ou exclusao, nas suas multiplas e/ou mais ou menos extensas expressoes ao nivel das condicoes de vida da populacao, qualquer que seja o contexto social de referencia.
