Issu des travaux d’une session du 45ème Deutsche Historikertag qui portait sur « communication et espace », l’ouvrage dirigé par H.v.S., H.J.G. et G.F. aborde le thème des finances et de l’économie urbaine à la fin du Moyen Âge et au début de l’époque moderne.
