Abstract
Cet article analyse les relations entre les deux plus importantes unions étudiantes des années 1960, soit l’Union nationale des étudiants de France (UNEF) et l’United States National Student Association (NSA), et identifie les points de convergence et de divergence qui ont marqué leurs rapports. Ces deux syndicats étudiants, bien qu’aux antipodes quant à leur philosophie, leur fonctionnement et leur objectif, ont entretenu des relations cordiales et continues, moins par volonté de collaborer que pour s’épier, afin d’identifier leurs failles respectives, s’en servir pour miner leur crédibilité et gagner en leadership auprès des autres unions nationales.
