Abstract
Cette étude de cas porte sur un projet d'intégration des technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) dans une école primaire au Cameroun. Des coopérants québécois accompagnent deux groupes d'enseignants, l'un francophone et l'autre anglophone, dans une démarche d'appropriation de l'informatique. Les coopérants forment les enseignants dans une approche pédagogique inspirée de l'éducation populaire de Freire. Cette formation a pour but de préparer les enseignants à enseigner les TIC à leurs élèves et de créer une communauté de pratique au sein du corps enseignant. Pendant deux mois, enseignants et coopérants travaillent en collaboration et font face à diverses difficultés qui nuisent à l'appropriation technologique des élèves et des enseignants. Observations, discussions de groupe et entrevues individuelles documentent une expérience d'intégration des TIC en éducation dans un contexte particulier et font ressortir certaines thématiques qui sont propres au Cameroun et à l'Afrique, et d'autres qui font échos au contexte éducatif canadien.
