Abstract
Trata-se de analisar a inserção de conceitos cognitivos e metacognitivos no ensino de Tradução e, de analisar a questão da autoavaliação dos aprendizes. Por meio da apreciação das abordagens propostas por Adriana Pagano, Célia Magalhães e Fábio Alves (POSLIN/UFMG) e Álvaro Echeverri, professor da Universidade de Montreal – Canadá, intenta-se compreender o uso da autoavaliação pelos tradutores em formação. Ao realizar a análise de ALVES, MAGALHÃES e PAGANO (2003), bem como a de ECHEVERRI (2008), percebe-se que ambas tocam pontos análogos, de onde se pode concluir que a autoavaliação se faz necessária para o sucesso da prática, processo e produto tradutório, bem como para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de Tradução, sendo um fator discutido nas abordagens apresentadas, ainda que se necessite de um maior aprofundamento.
