Abstract
L’homme dispose de plus en plus de moyens sophistiqués pour intervenir sur le corps humain. Ces pouvoirs concernent la prophylaxie, la thérapie, l’esthétisme ou encore la performance sportive. Cet article présente les problèmes que peuvent poser ces progrès scientifiques dans les domaines médicaux et sportifs au regard de ce que préconisent leurs éthiques respectives. Il examine ensuite la façon dont ces deux univers construisent, de façon spécifique, mais sous couvert de l’éthique, les limites de l’acceptable en ce qui concerne l’intervention scientifique sur le corps humain.
