Reproduction régionale différentielle des femmes nées entre 1860 et 1870 au Saguenay

Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats d'une étude sur l'histoire reproductive d'une cohorte de femmes qui sont nées et qui se sont mariées dans la région du Saguenay vers Ia finn du XIXe siècle. Les données utilisées proviennent du fichier de population BALSAC, développé au centre de recherches SOREP, à Chicoutimi. L'analyse est axée sur la variabilité et l'efficacité de la reproduction du groupe de femmes étudié. Les résultats obtenus montrent que, d'une génération à l'autre, le remplacement démographique et la transmission du patrimoine génétique s'effectuent de façon très inégale. Il semble aussi qu'il existe une certaine reproduction différentielle sous-régionale, selon le lieu de résidence au moment du mariage.
