Cet article présente les plus récentes projections de la population des Indiens inscrits du Canada. Un Indien inscrit est une personne qui, conformément à la Loi sur les Indiens, est inscrite ou a le droit d'être inscrite comme Indien dans le registre du ministère des Affaires indiennes et du Nord Canada (MAINC). Les projections ont été faites par la méthode des composantes régionales (les tendances de ces dernières ayant été analysées pour 1975 à 1990). Les données utilisées proviennent du registre du MAINC, et des corrections ont été effectuées pour le sous-enregistrement et l'enregistrement tardif des événements. Les réinscriptions qui ont suivi les amendements apportés à la Loi sur les Indiens en J 985 ont été prises en compte. Le résultat montre que la population des Indiens inscrits du Canada continuera d'être jeune et en croissance rapide au cours de la période 1991-2015.
