Abstract
International legal compliance is a central issue in International Law. Many theories have been proposed to explain and predict patterns of compliance; though none of them constitute a consensus among legal scholarship. This short paper aims to suggest a new approach to international financial regulation; one which considers sociological and economic aspects of international financial regulation.
