This catalogue, which accompanied an exhibition intended to demonstrate painting’s place in and relevance to contemporary art, contains a transcription of a discussion involving four Montreal painters. The artists’ talks cover, among other things, new technologies, the public, art historical references in painting, and their respective practices. Texts in English and French. Biographical notes on the artists.
