Abstract
En 2006, la Societe canadienne de cardiologie (SCC), dans le cadre de son processus de planification strategique, a etabli que les cardiologues communautaires etaient prioritaires pour son avenir. Pour maximiser sa valeur aupres des cardiologues communautaires, la SCC a apporte d’importantes ameliorations aux programmes scientifiques offerts dans le cadre du congres canadien sur la sante cardiovasculaire. De plus, plusieurs nouveaux projets ont ete mis sur pied pour mieux repondre aux besoins de formation des cardiologues communautaires au Canada. L’un de ces projets s’intitule « Perspectives canadiennes du programme ESC/AHA.07 ».
