Descrizione di tre differenti ricerche eseguite fra Stati Uniti e Canada le quali hanno come scopo la diagnosi tempestiva del tumore al seno tramite l’utilizzo di microonde UWB (Ultra WideBand). Chiave di volta di tutta la tesina e la determinazione delle proprieta dielettriche dei tessuti del seno umano in quanto la loro misurazione comporta la possibilita di effettuare la diagnosi con ottimi risultati rispetto alle odierne tecniche
