Abstract
Dans un contexte de mobilité internationale croissante, le nombre d’étudiants qui suivent des cours universitaires dans une langue étrangère ne cesse d’augmenter. Au Canada, cette clientèle internationale se double d’une clientèle nationale issue de l’autre communauté de langue officielle, qui étudie en immersion dans sa langue seconde (L2). Nous avons cherché à savoir si l’enseignement explicite de stratégies d'apprentissage (cognitives ou métacognitives) peut être utile pour aider les étudiants qui suivent des cours de discipline dans une L2 (langue seconde) ou LE (langue étrangère) à surmonter ces défis. Nous nous sommes penchée en particulier sur la perception de l’utilité du journal de bord: les étudiants perçoivent-ils l’utilité du journal de bord pour le transfert dans le cours de discipline des stratégies d’apprentissage vues dans les cours d’encadrement linguistique qui accompagnent ces cours de discipline?
