Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Colombian industrial heritage through history has witnessed a process of undercutting that has led to the degradation of structures and buildings representative of a boom and flourish for some cities. In our country, the city of Ottawa, was a territory that was modified and transformed by these production practices from the outset to be a river port in the first instance and then, in the nineteenth century commercial and industrial consolidation with opening port sea. In this process of transformation of the territory and urban image, there are still some buildings of all architectural type which have been declared as cultural interest - BIC-in the category of Architectural Heritage, among which include especially those belonging to the accommodation, building civilian and institutional, commercial, hotels, schools, clubs, etc., belonging to the period under study. All these buildings were declared cultural heritage of the city, were classified according to their architectural characteristics belonging to a republican architecture, but no account was taken of the buildings covered with a new architecture, industrial, this also nearby and within this center historical. Some of these industrial buildings remain in the memory of its inhabitants by oral testimony - but you need to recognize and value them. Others who have had more luck, still remain standing, but have changed their name and their originality in terms of architectural spaces and forms by industry demands more specialized and therefore more space and height. Or simply use have changed. However, you do not have an inventory of these production facilities, and a study and analysis of their types, architectural, urban planning and its impact on new forms of work and changes in the social structure to value these buildings in a moment in the history of the country became part of the modernization process of the same.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
