Abstract: Geology of the lower to middle Paleozoic metamorphic rocks in the Digby-Weymouth area, southwestern Nova Scotia
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Systematic regional (I: I 0 000 scale) mapping of lower to finely laminated, locally sulphide-rich, slate and minor middle Paleozoic metamorphic rocks, including the Meguma metasandstone, and overlies the Bloomfield member in the Group (Goldenville and Halifax formations), White Rock southern part of the area. The Bear River member Formation and Torbrook Formation, was conducted in the (Tremadocian) represents the upper Halifax Formation in the Digby-Weymouth area. Results indicate significant revisions Bear River area and consists of silty slate, metasiltstone and to previous maps, including subdivision and re-assignment of minor metasandstone. In the south part of the area the upper stratigraphy, re-interpretation of regional fold geometries, Halifax Formation is referred to as the Sissiboo member, and recognition of a regional-scale shear zone, and identification consists of well-laminated and distinctly colour-banded slateof new mineral occurrences. metasiltstone. The White Rock Formation (Silurian), consists The Goldenville Formation consists of mediumto mainly of dark slate with minor metasiltstone, marly thickly-bedded metasandstone with variable amounts of metasiltstone and local, thickly bedded quartzite, conformably laminated metasiltstone. Coarse metasandstone to fine to disconformably overlying the Halifax Formation. The metaconglometate beds occur locally. Concretions, locally Torbrook Formation (Early Devonian) conformably overlies metamorphosed to calc-silicate, are abundant within the the White Rock Formation and consists of slate and metasandstone beds. The Halifax Formation confonnably metasiltstone, locally with abundant macrofossils. overlies the Goldenville Formation and has been subdivided The lower to middle Paleozoic metamorphic sequence is into four lithologic units (members). The Bloomfield member, folded into regional-scale northeast-southwest to north-south, the lowest unit, consists of distinct green and maroon, locally moderately plunging folds. Axial planar cleavage is strongly variegated, laminated metasiltstone. The Acacia Brook developed in the Goldenville and Halifax formations , member, overlying the Bloomfield unit in the northern part of however, only moderately developed in the White Rock and the area, consists of mediumto dark-grey, well-laminated, Torbrook formations . The variation in strain may be related to slate-metasiltstone. The Cunard member consists of dark, the disconformity between the Halifax and White Rock

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
