Abstract
Le Canada compte un grand nombre d?entreprises non constituees en societe qui jouent un role fondamental aux premieres etapes du cycle de vie des entreprises. La presente etude fournit des donnees sommaires soulignant l?importance d?un groupe specifique de travailleurs autonomes : ceux dont la source principale de revenu est une entreprise non constituee en societe. Les travailleurs autonomes d?entreprises non constitues en societe vises par la presente etude ont produit une declaration de revenu des particuliers (fichier T1) de l?Agence du revenu du Canada et ont indique qu?un revenu du travail autonome etait la principale source de leur revenu. L?etude portait sur la periode de 1989 a 2010.
