Abstract

The article considers the problem of the social status of diakov in the class structure of the Russian society of the second quarter of XV century. Analyzed the social origin and marriage and family relations dyakov. It is revealed that in the period under review, the times-the progressing process of transformation of dyakov of the non-free servants in serving people, a significant part of which came from the ranks of the children of boyars-ing.
