Práce se zaměřuje na využití informačních a komunikačních technologií v dopravě, které pomáhají cestujícím se lépe orientovat. Poskytuje srovnání mezi městy Praha, Bratislava, Londýn a Montréal. U těchto dopravních podniků se práce zabývá analýzou poskytování informací cestujícím. V poslední části jsou na základě srovnání podniků navrhnuta řešení pro Dopravní podnik hl. města Prahy.
