Abstract
Cet article retrace, trop rapidement, la production de sociologues féministes francophones depuis 40 ans. Même si le genre est encore trop souvent une variable socio-démographique qui décrit l’appartenance à des sous-populations dans de nombreux travaux sociologiques, sa définition en français recueille largement l’héritage de la théorisation matérialiste des rapports sociaux proposée dans les années 1970-1980. « Féministes », dans le titre et l’article, est volontairement utilisé parce que ce terme allume encore la force de rendre la réalité inacceptable, à tout moment, ici et ailleurs, à toute génération, toutes générations encore immergées dans la « domination masculine ».
