L'entrepreneuriat féminin en Côte d'Ivoire : obstacles et opportunités

Abstract
The extensive analysis undertaken on female enterpreneurship related to the economic literature in general and about Cote d'Ivoire in particular are very few in number. In this view, the present study tries to highlight some economic and socio-cultural obstacles and the opportunities in the small and medium sized businesses creation by the ivoirian womankind. In a view to bring our investigations to a successful conclusion, we have considered a sample of 500 persons thanks to the sampling techniques from all the activities sectors. After the data processing, it emerges that in Cote d'Ivoire several obstacles are the groundings to the non effective implication of women in small and medium-sized enterprises creation and or their management. Among other reasons we find: religion, culture and ethnic group. To face these constraints, the study proposes recommendations that are likely to improve the ivoirian womankind integration in the trading economic sphere. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
