Abstract
francaisA Montreal, le quartier et l'arrondissement sont les territoires privilegies par la municipalite et les organismes communautaires pour susciter la participation des acteurs individuels et collectifs. Dans cet article, les auteurs se penchent sur les institutions municipales d'information et de consultation ainsi que sur les organismes de mobilisation locale qui misent sur la concertation ou le partenariat. Ils en examinent le fonctionnement, le rapport au territoire et la contribution a la democratie participative. EnglishIn Montreal, neighbourhoods and boroughs are the territories adopted by the municipality and community organizations in order to encourage participation by individual and collective actors. In this article, the authors study the municipal institutions used to inform and consult people, and local mobilization organizations, which count on concertation or partnership. The authors examine the way they work, their link to the territory and their contribution to participative democracy.
