Abstract
Resumo Relata-se um caso de fratura múltipla da coluna cervical em segmentos não-adjacentes. A radiografia da coluna cervical apresentava fratura dos corpos vertebrais de C4 e C6 e a ressonância magnética revelou edema medular do segmento de C4 a C6 com ruptura do ligamento longitudinal posterior entre C6 e C7, sem compressão medular. Realizou-se artrodese com enxerto ósseo autólogo de crista ilíaca e fixação com placa e parafusos nos segmentos C3-C4 e C6-C7. O paciente evoluiu sem deformidade e com melhora do déficit neurológico. A artrodese com enxerto ósseo autólogo, pela técnica de Smith-Robinson, e fixação com place e parafuso podem ser eficazes no tratamento das fraturas múltiplas da coluna cervical em segmentos não-adjacentes.
