Abstract
Lorsqu’un stage en enseignement se déroule à l’international ou en région éloignée, l’accompagnement offert par l’institution universitaire (ou d’enseignement supérieur) peut se faire à distance. De plus en plus, les superviseurs de ces stages peuvent utiliser un éventail de TIC pour limiter les inconvénients occasionnés par la distance, dont l’isolement de l’apprenant. À partir de résultats qualitatifs et quantitatifs d’une étude exploratoire-descriptive d’orientation compréhensive, nous identifions les principales caractéristiques d’une supervision de stage à distance en ce qui concerne la création d’un sentiment de présence. Établies selon différents types de présence (enseignante, cognitive et sociale), des TIC utilisées, de la possibilité d’une supervision hybride, de la collaboration avec les acteurs du milieu scolaire, et des enjeux éthiques, ces caractéristiques favorisent l’identification de gestes robustes pour la création de présence en supervision de stage.
