Abstract
O « perspectivismo » (Viveiros de Castro, 1998) atikamekw (população autóctone de tradição nômade do Canadá) é carcaterizado por uma tipo de conhecimento que não é baseado sobre os valores da objetividade, mas sobre o valor da intersubjetividade no interior de um « universo florestal» que é definido pelo conjunto de interações entre seus componentes. O universo florestal atikamekw forma um espaço social definido por redes de relações estabelecidades pelas práticas cotidianas e pelas relações contínuas através das quais se adquirem e se desenvolvem os saberes ligados à vida na floresta. A colonização do território e a imposição de fronteiras levaram a fragmentação da terra e das relações sociais dentro do território habitado. Portanto, o território atikamekw enfrenta atualmente dois sistemas contraditórios do conhecimento e da gestão da floresta e da natureza de tal forma que os Atikamekw aprenderam a viver com o sistema de gestão, de legislação, de cartografia e de representação da sociedade dominante (Poirier, 2001, 2004). A história colonial teve, sem sombra de dúvida, um papel na redefinição do território, da cultura e da identidade dos Atikamekw. Um elemento importante do meu projeto é justamente comprender a maneira que os Atikamekw vivem com o processo de reatualização de seu sistema de conhecimento e de seu universo florestal. Perspectivism and intersubjectivity: memory and updating the territorial identity of iriniwok Atikamekw Manawan (Indigenous nomadic tradition of Eastern Canada)Abstract The Atikamekw "perspectivism" (Viveiros de Castro, 1996) gives a vision that knowledge is not built upon the value of objectivity, but rather on the value of subjectivity and intersubjectivity that defines a "forest world" characterized by interactions between its components. The Atikamekw «forest world» forms a social space defined by a network of relationships established through everyday practices. It is according to this scheme that knowledge is developed in the forest area. The colonization of territory and the imposition of geographic borders have resulted in land and social fragmentation. Therefore, the Atikamekw iriniwok must now deal with two conflicting systems of knowledge and management regarding nature and the forest. The Atikamekw iriniwok have learned to live with a system of legislation, management, maps and representations imposed on them by the dominant society (Poirier, 2001, 2004). The colonial history has undoubtedly played a key role in the redefinition of culture and identity for the Atikamekw iriniwok. An important element of my project is understanding how they live with this process of redefining their way of being and their way of knowing. Keywords: Perspectivism. Intersubjectivity. Knowledge.
