Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

On one of those sunny days shortly before winter sets in, I came to Anna Carmi's house in the Beit HaKerem quarter in Jerusalem. We sat on her terrace, then in the nursery, in the living room, in the garden and, finally, we settled down in her studio beneath the house. I came to interview Carmi. Over a decade ago, I was a student in her studio and we have stayed in touch. It did not take long to realize that both of us are concerned with combining home making with raising children while working as artists. I am experiencing a change that has occurred with the birth of my daughter, while Carmi is undergoing a period of expanding her house and her family. Our conversation began instinctively with my difficulty to continue creating ever since my daughter has come into my life. My determination to go on creating raised the basic and practical question as to the physical location where my crea tivity process should take place.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
