Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We report a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B{sup 0} {yields} D*{sup +}D*{sup -1} and of the CP-odd component of its final state using the BABAR detector. With data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.4 fb{sup -1} collected at the {Upsilon}(4S) resonance during 1999-2000, we have reconstructed 38 candidate signal events in the mode B{sup 0} {yields} D*{sup +}D*{sup -1} with an estimated background of 6.2 {+-} 0.5 events. From these events, we determine the branching fraction to be {Beta}(B{sup 0} {yields} D*{sup +}D*{sup -1}) = (8.3 {+-} 1.6(stat) {+-} 1.2(syst)) x 10{sup -4}. The measured CP-odd fraction of the final state is 0.22 {+-} 0.18(stat) {+-} 0.03(syst).

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
